Effective August 31, 2026. The app is designed to work without an account, advertisements, or cross-app tracking.
What stays on your device
Your saved works, visit history, route state, preferences, offline packs, and download records are stored on your device. Removing the app removes its app-managed local data. Images you deliberately export to Photos or Files remain there until you delete them.
What the service processes
To return catalog updates, Gallery search results, artwork details, and approved downloads, our Cloudflare-hosted catalog service receives search terms and ordinary network information, including IP addresses, request paths, headers, and request times. Our catalog database does not store search terms or raw IP addresses.
Retained Worker request logs, invocation logs, and distributed traces are disabled for this release, and no Worker Logpush or Tail Worker destination is configured. Cloudflare still processes traffic to deliver and protect the service and provides aggregate operational metrics. Rate limiting uses a one-way hash of a network address and route class in short-lived counters. We do not use this information for advertising or personal profiles. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its infrastructure practices.
Downloads and outside links
Artwork images load directly from the National Gallery of Art’s api.nga.gov service. The Gallery’s privacy policy describes retaining network information such as IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, access times, and requested resources. Its image service uses Cloudflare bot protection and may set a security cookie. These providers handle network records under their own privacy policies; their processing is separate from our app-managed local library. Official source links open Gallery pages governed by the Gallery’s policies.
Apple governs the App Store, Photos, Files, iCloud, and sharing destinations you choose. Cloudflare processes catalog requests as our infrastructure provider.
When you contact us
If you email support, we receive what you send—usually your email address, message, optional screenshot, and device or app details. Support messages and attachments are not sent automatically; you choose what to include and whether to send them from your email app. We use it to answer, diagnose problems, protect the service, and improve the app. We retain it only as reasonably needed for support, security, legal, and business records.
Children and sensitive information
The app is suitable for families but is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please do not send sensitive personal, financial, or health information through support.
Your choices
You can use the app without an account, delete offline content in its storage manager, remove exported files yourself, and uninstall the app to clear app-managed data. For privacy questions or requests, email corporate@cerebraenterprises.com.
